Representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Petersburg and the Charity Fund “Our Cause” honored the memory of the victims of the siege of Leningrad.

79 years have passed since the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade.

On January 27, members of the charity foundation “Our Cause” together with representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Petersburg honored the memory of the fallen heroes and took part in a solemn funeral ceremony at the Piskarev Memorial Cemetery.

Christmas charity event. Concert + auction of paintings

Our Cause Foundation holds an exhibition of paintings by talented young artists from Artsakh/Armenia.

All of them are students of the Dizak Art Cultural Center, which was founded in March 2021 in Yerevan on the basis of the Department of Culture and Youth Affairs of the Hadrut District Administration of the NKR (Republic of Artsakh).

Representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Petersburg and the Charitable Foundation ‘Our Duty’ honored the memory of the victims of the siege of Leningrad

On September 8, the representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Petersburg, led by the rector of the Church of St. Catherine, Priest Ephraim Zargaryan and the ‘Our Duty’ Charitable Foundation, laid wreaths and flowers at the Piskarevsky Memorial. The blockade of the city on the Neva is considered one of the bloodiest in the history of mankind. It lasted 872 days.

For a significant contribution to the creation of the Theological Seminary of the Armenian Apostolic Church in St. Petersburg, the Charitable Foundation ‘Our Duty’ received gratitude, and the Member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation Karen Sardaryan personally received a letter of thanks from the Vicar of the Head of the Russian and New – Nakhichevan diocese in the North-Western region of Hieromonk Poghos.
